Dillion was originally hired by the party to help find and kill giants even though the party felt a strange evil about him. Alone the way the party ran across an old dwarven and decided to explore it, beside they didn’t really have anything better to do that day. Even though Dillion was not hired for exploring old mines he agreed as he was being paid, and Dillion liked gold.
It was Dillion's attitude though that sent him reeling almost to the point of unconsciousness when he made fun Quarion's god. The party, deciding to teach Dillion a little lesson left him alone to think about his actions. After all it seemed to be a safe place.
When the party returned later from a successful Troglodyte hunt in the mine they found his body missing. Though they did find small lizard tracks all around the area, and a small blood trail out the door. The party followed and soon came to a river that ran through the mine. The blood trail ending at the rivers bank. The paladin quickly piped in, “Good ridden to the evil bastard!”
Party belief is that a small band of baby Troglodytes found Dillion unable to protect himself and took advantage of the situation.
Dillion's body was never recovered and the party's elven priest Quarion Meliame was sadden by the fact he could not burn the body.
